GLOBAL LIGHTS MOTORSPORT TERMS & CONDITIONS
It is important to read this document and understand the points outlined in it. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have read this document carefully before signing this or any other document provided by Global Lights Motorsport, its affiliates, representatives, employees, or owners. No money should be exchanged before you have received, read and understood these documents and their contents. You will not be entitled to refund if you have not read the provided documents before making payment or refuse to sign on the day.
Cancelation Policies & Refunds
Regretfully under no circumstances can we cancel, refund or reschedule an experience or track day once a date has been booked, so please ensure you, or the person(s) you are buying the event for are able to attend the date chosen before you make the order. In some circumstances, it may be possible for our customer service team to contact the supplier to make an amendment to a booking but there will likely be an admin fee to do so. We cannot offer refunds or extensions on vouchers purchased under special offer or Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals. transfer, vouchers can be transferred to a different person with written email permission by the purchaser.
You can exchange your voucher against another product as long as it is at least 14 days prior to the event. Voucher packaging and postage costs are non-refundable. Vouchers used for auction/ competition winners cannot be refunded. Extension fees are non-refundable.
Should an event be cancelled or rescheduled due to reasons out of our control the provider will do their best to notify you as soon as possible and re-arrange a date. You are bound by the terms of the provider in this instance, of which details can be passed to you on request. In these circumstances, Global Lights Motorsport is unable to reimburse any expenses you may have occurred in relation to the cancelled event.
Weather Limitations
Global Lights Motorsport will not suspend any experience if there is rain the day before, morning of or during the activity. If you choose not to partake in the activity due to weather conditions, you will not be entitled to a full or partial refund. In the event of excessive rain or unsuitable/unsafe driving conditions, Global Lights Motorsport may be instructed by 3rd parties or choose to suspend or cancel the activity. In this event, a discount may be offered off your next experience, you will not be entitled to a full refund.
Vouchers & Discounts
Gift Vouchers and Discount offers will have an expiry date shown. These ‘in date’ vouchers or discount offers may be used as part or full payment towards any Activity offered by Global Lights Motorsport. Unless stated otherwise, vouchers and discounts are valid for one person only and nontransferable. Where necessary a top-up payment can be made to increase the value of a voucher to book a higher priced event. Note, that during the out of season months the price of experience may change. If the price of the event is lower than the value of the voucher the remaining credit will be held for use until the voucher’s expiry date.
Suitability to Drive
Global Lights Motorsport reserves the right to exclude any driver considered as possibly unfit at any point by reasons of ability, health, consumption of alcohol and or prohibited substances or drugs. If you are deemed to be under the influence of any drugs or alcohol.
Restrictions.
Global Lights Motorsport have the following restrictions for the activity:
Height is limited between 4’11” – 6’3”
Weight is limited to below 14 stone – Please be mindful that the seat is 400mm wide
Unless on a Junior driving experience the minimum age is 17 years old.
You must hold a valid UK driving licence or full ARDS race licence.
You must wear suitable shoes (Race shoes are recommended) , trousers, and long sleeve top in any driving activity.Gloves and overalls can be provided by Global Lights Motorsport (hire at additional cost and booked in advance of the day)
A full-face crash helmet and visor must be worn, this can be provided by Global Lights Motorsport (hire at additional cost)
Driver must wear long sleeve and trousers if not wearing a race overall.

Global Lights Motorsport will not provide refunds for customers who forfeit their booking due to failing the restriction guidelines. Participants in any driving experience or car track day will need to produce their full, original valid driving license before they can partake in an event. Without producing the correct license, you will not be able to take part and you will not be eligible for a refund.
Insurance, Excess and Damage Policy
Global Lights Motorsport do not offer any personal insurance to you for your participation in the activity, you take part in the activity at your own risk. If the car is damaged by you or others whilst you are driving the car, any and all damage caused to the car that requires the car to be repaired to the same standard as before the activity will be covered as part of an excess. This Excess will vary in value and will be charged at cost of repair up to £10,000 unless a crash damage policy is taken out to reduce the excess , which will be payable by you. Tyres are included as part of Global Lights Motorsport damage policy where driver due care and consideration has not been followed, flat spots or damage to tyre (or tyres) caused as a result of misuse or poor driving, the cost to replace them would be charged to you. In the event of any damage, Global Lights Motorsport will discuss payment options with you.
Session Duration
Your session duration will be set and limited by Global Lights Motorsport; this will also be in accordance with 3rd party organisers. Any session lengths with each activity are approximate from the point of arrival to departure. Occasionally an event may need to be adjusted, of which you will be notified as soon as possible. Global Lights Motorsport will always try to ensure you are able to enjoy your activity fully and reduce your waiting time to a minimum, but it will be essential for the car to cool, refuel, adjust seating or harness positions or undergo maintenance because of use. Maintenance is inherent in the activity and essential as part of Global Lights Motorsport safety policy. The activity itinerary in your confirmation is a guide and may be subject to changes. Your duration in the activity may be impacted by situations outside of Global Lights Motorsport’s control, such as Red or Black flag or 3rd party influence, these scenarios are also an inherent part of the activity.
Driving beyond your limits
The aim of the day is to enjoy the Activity mitigating risk to yourself and those around you. It is essential that you learn the track, understand the etiquettes, rules and limitations as well as drive within your ability. Pace yourself!!! If it is deemed by Global Lights Motorsport, its representatives, track organisers, track marshals or event coordinators that you are driving beyond your limits, causing risk to yourself and others, directly or indirectly at any point in the duration of the activity, you will be signalled or asked to return to the pit, paddock or designated area of _______________________ by Global Lights Motorsport or the Track Marshalls. You will be instructed to make the necessary corrective actions and you may be allowed you to continue with the Activity. After this, if you continue to drive beyond
your limits or pose further risk to yourself or others, you may be informed you will no longer be able to continue in the Activity. Global Lights Motorsport and Track Organisers may not offer you an opportunity to make corrective actions if they deem your behaviour in the activity to be too dangerous to continue. You will not be offered a refund from the Activity if you are not allowed to continue due to driving beyond your limits.
Spinning, Loosing Control or Running off Circuit
If you spin the car, loose control, or run off of the circuit onto the gravel or grass directly or indirectly of your own actions, ‘if you are able’ you must regain control of the car and safely return to the pits, paddock or designated area (noted above) where the car can be assessed for fault or driver briefed on corrective measures. A repeat of this may be deemed driving beyond your limits.
Car Safety and Reliability
At any point, should you feel that the car has become unsafe, reduce your speed in a controlled manner, pull over to a ‘safe’ location and remain in the car. DO NOT exit the car unless instructed by an official or track marshal, or if the car itself is unsafe to remain in (risk of fire). You are safer to remain seated in the car until a track marshal has approached you. If the car is not performing in the same way or changes, ‘if it is safe to do so’ return the car to the pit, paddock or designated area listed above and inform a member of the Global Lights Motorsport team.
Behaviour, Etiquettes & Conduct
You must follow and adhere to any and all guidelines or rules set by Global Lights Motorsport or any 3rd parties set around the activity. You must attend any safety briefings by Global Lights Motorsport or any 3rd parties set around the activity. Any use of abusive or offensive language and ‘or’ aggressive behaviour toward anyone will not be tolerated. Failure to follow the above points may result in you being asked to leave the Activity and location, you will not be entitled to any discounts or refunds if you are asked to leave.
Documentation Signatures.
Documentation provided by Global Lights Motorsport THEIR AFFILIATES, PARTNERS, OWNERS OR SPONSERS, INCLUDING ANY 3RD PARTY ORGANISERS must be signed prior to the activity, failure to do so will prevent you from participation in the activity and you will not be entitled to any refunds or discounts.

I HAVE READ THIS TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND EXCEPT ANY AND ALL LIMITATIONS AND GUIDELINES SET BY IT. I ACKNOLEDGE THAT FAILIURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY POINT MAY RESULT IN MY ACTIVITY BEING CANCELLED BY GLOBAL LIGHTS MOTORSPORT OR ANY 3RD PARTY, EXCLUDING ME FROM ANY REFUND OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY FUTURE ACTIVITY HELD BY GLOBAL LIGHTS MOTORSPORT OR 3RD PARTY.
Global Lights Motorsport reserve the rights to make any alterations to this document at any point should it be deemed necessary to do so.
